Laurie Biasetti


My yoga journey began in 2009 while seeking relief from scoliosis, which had taken a turn for the worst while spending many years in a desk job. Sitting for long periods of time compressed my spine increasing the curvatures and creating severe muscular tension & imbalances.

Practicing hot yoga not only allowed me to focus on my breath alleviating stress in my body, it also increased circulation, improving blood flow to stressed muscles. The physical practice of yoga has helped me create more length and symmetry in my body & the spiritual practice of yoga has helped me to accept and embrace my scoliosis without judgment finding contentment in my imperfect body. I received my RYT200 hour in 2020 and I look forward to furthering my journey as a teacher as well as a life-long student.
